During 2006, San Juan International Airport has made dramatic improvements, a brand new concourse, and the renovation of one of its runways, press conference rooms, an American Airlines Admirals Club situated in Concourse C. And new fast food franchises Including Wendys, McDonalds, and Subway, The San Juan International Airport has its own hotel, and a nice selection of duty free shops, and a lot of ATMs throughout the airport. Exceptional services for disabled travelers are available. These comprise of lifts, a ramp, public movers, TDD telephones, disabled toilets and disabled parking spaces. Help is always available to disabled visitors at the Travelers Aid desk on the first level of Terminal D anytime of the day. Travelers needing wheelchairs and individual support can get in touch with the airport authorities prior to travel. San Juan International Airport has two terminals the Main Terminal and the American Airlines Terminal. The Main Terminal is home to concourses B & C. Whilst the American Airlines Terminal Is home to concourses D & E. As you may of guessed American Airlines uses its own terminal along with American Eagle. All other airlines fly in and out of the main terminal. Inside the San Juan International Airport, you can find information and reserves tickets for all sorts of travel. Plenty of Taxis can be found on the first level of each terminal. Puerto Rico has the normal taxis that you would expect to find in any large town along with taxis turisticos. These offer trips to predefined local destinations. Limousines are also available. Normal bus and shuttles run frequently in to San Juan.
